Hummus is a really tasty, healthy way to snack, especially when paired with crunchy celery or carrot sticks, but is also great with crispbreads, crackers and warm pita. It is also super easy to make and full of protein and flavour.
Cook time: Approximately 15mins
3 cloves of Garlic
1/2 tbsp Olive Oil
1 drained tin of Mr Organic Butter Beans
1tsp smoked Paprika
Juice of 1 Lemon
1tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar
1tsp Chilli flakes
1 tbsp Tahini
Salt and Pepper
1. Preheat your oven to 200C/ Fan 180C/ Gas Mark 6
2. Chop the onion and peel the garlic before placing on a baking tray. Drizzle olive oil over the top and cook in the oven for approximately 10mins, until golden.
3. While still hot, transfer from the baking to into a food processor and add the butter beans, smoked paprika, lemon juice, apple cider vinegar, chilli flakes and tahini. Blend together until smooth.
4. Add salt and pepper to taste, then Enjoy!
