Baby sweetcorn is exactly what it sounds like, it’s a baby version of regular sweet corn. However, baby sweetcorn has a slightly more bitter taste and has an even more satisfying crunch to it. It goes excellent in stir-fries and even goes really well with some curries.
Our fruit and vegetables are locally sourced wherever possible by The Green Berry from our local farmers. Our produce is either cut from the fields and with us in as little as an hour or sourced fresh daily, so it’s so much fresher & tastier than our supermarket counterparts! We choose this way to support local farmers we class as friends & because of our duty to nature, and our philosophy of playing a small part in helping the planet become a greener and more efficient place for everyone.
Storage and Preparation:
Because corn loses its sweetness much faster stored at room temperature compared to storing in the refrigerator, it is best to refrigerate it as soon as possible after it has been picked. The husks should not be removed until just before preparing. Remember to wash all fruits & vegetables before eating.
