A zingy blend of pink grapefruit, lemon and orange juices, with an aromatic hint of Lemon thyme. It’s citrussy, fragrant and fabulously refreshing. The drink is a warm red-pink in colour and cloudy with a small amount of sediment present in the base of the bottle which is naturally occurring from the pink grapefruit juice. The aroma is of sweet and citrus grapefruit with a gently aromatic hint of lemon thyme. The flavour is a balance of sweet and tart sourness and gentle acidity typical of pink grapefruit, which is more grown up in character with a hint of aromatic botanical lemon thyme; with no added sugar for a clean crisp finish.
Belvoir Fruit Farm nestles deep in the English countryside in the idyllic Vale of Belvoir where they have been making cordials since 1984, pressing fresh fruit and infusing flowers to mix with the famous Belvoir spring water. Mary Manners, the wife of our founder Lord John Manners, started making cordials in her kitchen in the Seventies by infusing the elderflowers and pressing the fruit grown on the farm. Lord John then popped the 88 cases of drinks into the back of his car and went round local farm shops persuading the owners to buy a bottle here and there. Today demand is so high that Belvoir calls on the local community to help with the harvest picking flowers from their own orchards and from hedgerows in the surrounding countryside.
Since then, Belvoir has carried on the same infusing, pressing and cooking of fresh flowers, fruits and spices, which are then blended with local spring water to make our delicious drinks. We never compromise on quality, and choose only the best ingredients. We make naturally delicious Cordials, Pressés and Fruit Crushes at our home in the gorgeous Lincolnshire countryside.. Since then, Belvoir has carried on the same infusing, pressing and cooking of fresh flowers, fruits and spices, which are then blended with local spring water to make our delicious drinks. We hope you enjoy these lovely drinks!
