Cartmel is the home of Sticky Toffee. It’s something they’re very proud of, a long side the 12th century Priory and the racecourse which runs straight past the Village Shop. That’s where Cartmel Sticky Toffee Pudding was born – they started baking in the shop’s back kitchen and selling it in the front 20 years ago. Word soon got out and everyone wanted some, so Cartmel had to move the kitchen, but the Puddings are still handmade, and there’s really is nothing to match them. That’s why Cartmel is the home of Sticky Toffee! All these puddings are made by hand from 100% natural ingredients.
