Fresh ginger is common in the kitchen for good reason. As a complex flavour that can be used for sweet or savoury, the earthy, citrusy and almost spicy aroma is warming on the palette in any dish. Adding a pinch of fresh ginger to pretty much anything can add a delightful, warming flavour to give the dish a little punch.
Our fruit and vegetables come from the locally sourced The Green Berry. The organic produce is far more environmentally friendly than our supermarket counterparts, and a lot tastier too! We choose this way because we have a duty to succeed in helping the planet become a greener and more efficient place for everyone.
Storage and Preparation:
Store the whole, unpeeled ginger root in a resealable plastic bag, with the air pushed out, in the crisper drawer of the refrigerator. If part of the ginger has been cut or peeled, be sure to blot it dry with a paper towel before storing. Remember to wash all fruits & veggies before eating.
