The Real Olive Company was founded in Bristol by Karin Andersson and Ben Flight in 1998. From the start, we have always shared deep-rooted values that guide us through life with a mission to create sustainable, delicious food, bursting with natural vitality.
Specialising in organic, fresh olives & antipasti, we source our olives from trusted artisan growers on the shores of the Mediterranean – real people who understand the unhurried rhythms of the olive tree.
From grove to table, every step we take retains each olive’s natural goodness. After being hand-picked, we prepare, marinate and pack our olives using time-honoured recipes and cold-pressed oils so you can enjoy the freshest, most authentic olives bursting with Mediterranean sunshine & staying true to our roots is at our very core; it’s about our relationships with our farmers and growers, about how we value and respect our hardworking team and how we understand and communicate with our customers.
Karin and Ben have established a network of organic growers around the Mediterranean coast, in Greece, Italy, France, Morocco and Spain. Working with small scale, independent, artisan and organic farmers, they know exactly where their olives come from, sun-kissed groves which remain a haven for wildflowers, insects and birds, as they have been for centuries.
