Asparagus has an excellent crunch, a distinct but deliciously earthy taste and a lovely green colour to them. They’re the perfect accompaniment to a succulent salmon or fresh, summer salad. Season with a little salt and pepper and you’ve got a perfect side dish.

Storage and Preparation:
We recommend standing the asparagus up in a glass or jar with about an inch or two of water, making sure all the ends are sitting in the water. We've found that a 2-cup measuring cup is a great container. Loosely cover the asparagus with a plastic bag and store in the refrigerator for up to a week. you gently rinse in cold water before consuming. Enjoy!
